Who We Are
William N. Handelman M.D.
Dr. Handelman is a 1977 graduate of the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He completed
his internship in the United States Public Health Service Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana; and
he completed his internal medicine residency at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon,
Georgia which is part of the Mercer University School of Medicine program. Dr. Handelman received
fellowship training in Cardiology at Robert Packer Hospital through the Guthrie Clinic. This is
located in Sayre, PA. Dr. Handelman has had 20,000 hours of Emergency Room experience as well as
extensive in hospital and intensive care experience. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and
is on active staff at several of our local hospitals.
Myung Joo Handelman, A.R.N.P.
Mrs. Handelman is a native of Seoul, South Korea and immigrated to the United States 15 years ago.
She is now a citizen of the United States. She received her nursing degree from the Korean Armed
Forces nursing Academy in Seoul, South Korea, and worked as a staff nurse in the emergency department
of the Korean Armed Forces Hospitals in South Korea. She was honorably discharged with a Captain's
commission from the Korean Armed Forces and subsequently enrolled in the Korean National Open
University where she majored in English language and literature. She holds a bachelors degree in
English. In the United States, she attended University of South Florida and earned a degree of
Masters of Science in Nursing and is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner. She is licensed to
diagnose and treat and prescribe medications. She has had extensive experience in both emergency
medicine and adult internal medicine and has been a member of the practice since 2000. She is a
certified IV nurse.
Clyde H. Moreland, M.D.
Dr. Moreland is a native Floridian who was raised in Gainesville, Florida. He received his medical
degree in 1991 from the University of Florida College of Medicine. He completed his residency in
Family Practice at Tallahassee Memorial Regional Medical Center's Family Practice Residency
Program in Tallahassee, Florida. Doctor Moreland is board certified in Family Practice and is a
member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He has worked extensively in both Urgent
Care Clinics and in Family Practice office settings. In addition, he is involved in research
activities.
Margaret L. Wyatt, A.R.P.N.
Margaret Wyatt is a New York native who started her nursing career in 1981. She relocated to
Florida in 1993 from Puyallup, Washington. She obtained her A.R.N.P. from Ball State University
and has worked at local community hospitals in Critical Care before joining the Bay Area Medical/CanCare
Clinic Team in December 2007.
